AS 1288-2006 Accreditation Scheme
The Glass and Glazing Association of Australia has developed a Member AS1288 Accreditation
Program for the industry so that members may become Accredited Glaziers.Before proceeding with Registration or undertaking the exam, please make sure you use Internet Explorer 6 and above
To participate in the AGGA Accredited Glazier Scheme companies must employ staff who have passed the AS1288-2006 Competency Exam.
The Competency Exam is a test conducted to assess a persons knowledge of the AS1288-2006 Glass in Buildings - Selection and Installation code.
This Australia wide test is to determine that a person has demonstrated this Competency and understanding of AS1288-2006 Code.
This test is conducted on line and can be accessed by clicking the box above titled "Register for AS1288-2006 Test".
For a company to become Accredited they must employ a person who has passed the Competency Test and meets the Accreditation criteria required in their state.
